I consider myself an anime/manga fan. Maybe not an otaku (Yet!) but I am on my way there.
So one of the best anime movies ever finally made it to the US and like the title says: It was and Epic Win.
The movie I'm talking about is Mamoru Hosada's Summer Wars. Directed by the same guy who directed the first two Digimon movies and The Girl Who Lept Through Time, this movie was flawless in a lot of aspects. Taking the family aspect we are all familiar with and smashing it against Social Networking like if the two were different colored play-do. Think Facebook if it was an MMO.
Of course rather than letting you read about how much I liked it I would prefer to show you guys.
Alongside with Tom Pinchuk (Comic Book Writer of Haybrid Bastards and Unimaginable) we made a video review for an Anime/Manga website: Anime Vice www.animevice.com/
Please watch the video and give me your opinion. Have you seen the movie? Do you want to watch the movie?

Deviant Anniversary - 1 Year and It's... Odd!
This funny pop-up notice just appeared on my screen, courtesy of Deviant Art. Apparently as of December 7th of 2010 I have been a member of DA for a year, and, like the title suggests, I feel odd about it.
I really don't feel that I have accomplished much (art-wise) this past year. I'll try and start this on a positive note, with statistics.
This past year I have:
- Submitted 50 Deviations (I know the profile says 51 but I didn't make my Deviant ID)
- Favorited 72 Deviations
- Commented 161 Times (Or is that received 161 comments? I doubt it but then again I'm not sure)
- Received 805 Pageviews (Which I am very grateful for!)
- Receiv
'Late Reply (Sorry):'
I have been somewhat MIA from DA for more than 6 months...
Other than a few submissions here and there I haven't really taken the time to check anything else here on DA or the users I "Watch"...
So first order of business is to replay to all of the comments on my art (which are not to much either way). I am replying with a "Late Reply (Sorry):" and then the comment... because I don't want anyone to think that the comments were not appreciated...
Thanks for that...
Secondly I must check out the 6,400 messages I have... Some are from Journals others are feedback and then there's all the beautiful art pieces submitted that I have to at least
